All ready for a long weekend in Kraków!

Tomorrow morning Marni and I leave for Kraków, Poland!  We're taking a bus to Berlin and then a train from there to Kraków.  A trip to Auschwitz and also probably a tour of the salt mine are on our agenda, but other than that we don't have any definite plans.  I'm just so glad to be traveling with someone else, especially to Auschwitz.  It's a lot less lonely to have a buddy with me!

Today I went to my Figure Painting class and packed for my trip.  I also booked my trips to Paris and London!  I'm planning to go to Paris in May--I figured that was a good place to be on my birthday!  My trip to London will be in early June.  Hostels are a tad pricey, and I had to book a flight rather than a bus or train, but I'm willing to pay for it!  I've wanted to go to Paris and London for what feels like forever.

Tonight Indra and I hung out in her room.  We messed around with piano and guitar a little bit, and mixed down recordings of ourselves to different frequencies so that we sounded like little kids, or like the mice from the Babe movie, or like deep-voiced monsters.  It was so funny!  I always enjoy hanging out with Indra because we basically just talk and play music, and sometimes I draw while we're talking.

Probably no blog posts while I'm in Kraków . . . Internet access can be kind of sketchy or completely inaccessible, depending on what the hostel wi-fi is like.  In Amsterdam my German data plan didn't work and the hostel wi-fi didn't work either, so I had no Internet at all.  Maybe there will be a few Facebook posts, but probably you won't hear from me till Wednesday.  Marni and I get back to Hamburg Tuesday night--we're taking a couple hours during our stop in Berlin on the way home to visit the Pergamon Museum.

Have a good weekend, everybody!
