Keep on keepin' on

Today was the last regular day of intaglio printmaking class.  We showed our work from the semester and finished printing our series.  Next Wednesday our class and the mezzotint class (which I am also in) will assemble the exhibition for next weekend.  I'm so excited at the prospect of having an exhibition.  All the art classes have them.  I think it's a really great incentive to do a good job, knowing that other students and faculty (and maybe outsiders too) will be seeing your work.  I wish we did that in my art classes back at CSULB!

This is a very normal sight on the street right now . . .
So apparently the U.S. is out of the World Cup (just in time for 4th of July . . . at least the players will get to be home for the holiday, even if they are not going home as the victors).  And now nobody can call me a traitor if I root for Germany while I'm in Germany.

All right, Klose, Müller, and co.  Let's do this.

"AUF GEHTS, DEUTSCHLAND! SCHIEßT EIN TOR, SCHIEßT EIN TOR, SCHIEßT EIN TO-O-OR!"
